Getting there
You will feel like you are going somewhere really special, approaching a fairy-tale land of lakes and mountains, as you make your way toward Lake Garda and the Dolomites.

The magic starts when you arrive at the lake, where your private boat and driver will be waiting for you, ready to take you to your luxurious accommodation nestled between the picturesque peaks surrounding the northern side of the lake. You will arrive at the hotel’s private pier and step into a world of beauty and epicurean delights.
Getting to Lake Garda and the Dolomites is a marvelous and enchanting experience, from whichever direction you arrive.

The Workout
Travel a trail of flavors and aromas, of people and their culinary traditions, in a place described as the “garden” of a famous Italian chef—a local with intimate knowledge of this spectacular part of Italy. It’s a journey in pursuit of the most excellent ingredients and delicacies, a trip through stunning landscapes, age-old family traditions, the heritage and knowledge of local artisans, culminating in the mouth-watering dishes of the chef’s restaurant. It’s a place for lovers of natural beauty, of mountains and lakes, for feeling part of nature, but also for those in search of a connection between their food and a place, and a dining experience as unique as it is magical.
What you can expect

Wine
Trentino is a land of transition between southern and northern Europe, a Latin culture that folds into Germanic customs exceptionally played out in food and wine. It’s the most northerly wine region of Italy, where the great Padana flatlands butt up against the mighty Dolomites in a spectacular combination of the snow-capped mountains, verdant glacial valleys, meadows, and vineyards. Admire this scene on a sunny day with a glass of local Kerner, Pinot Grigio, or Teroldego, and you feel like you’re in wine paradise, certainly one of the most creative, diverse, and resourceful enological microcosms of Italy.
Dine
Spectacular settings, the best local produce, and contemporary takes on ancient traditions are all part of the dining experience in this workout. You will taste an array of local delicacies such as raw cow’s milk cheeses, herbs foraged from the mountain pastures, and fresh lake fish—as well as indulge in traditional recipes from the area. The culmination of the experience is a magical dinner in the Michelin-starred chef’s own restaurant.


Exercise
The lake and mountains are a playground for lovers of sport and activity, and you’ll have time for swimming in the lake or hikes in the mountains at your leisure. As always, as on all our workouts, you’ll be doing loads of eating and drinking as you explore, but to give you a little break in this workout, we will take you foraging in the mountains, strolling around vineyards and mountain pastures, and riding in a boat on the lake.
Learn
You will discover the traditions of this mountainous area laden with history and learn about its cuisine and culinary heritage.
You’ll delve into the taste sensations of its famous mountain cheeses and learn how to understand and appreciate their quality and subtleties. An important part of the local cuisine is the wine, and the locals will introduce you to the complexities of the local varieties. The chef will also show you, through his dishes, how the most traditional or simple local ingredients come together to create something both contemporary and incredible.

Lodgings
You first night’s lodging will be a true lakeside experience, with a touch of old-world glamour. You will lodge in the lap of luxury in a luxurious hotel with incredible views across Lake Garda and the Dolomite mountains.
The following night will be an authentic mountain experience, spending the night in a simple but comfortable lodge, high up amongst the forests of the Dolomites with just enough rustic charm to give you a peek into a world of mountain tradition and culture.
Your third and final night will once again be in the comfort and luxury of your magnificent lakeside hotel. Moving between your lodging experiences will be easy and smooth – we’ll take care of your luggage and all the rest – you just need to sit back, relax and enjoy!
